Links with Parents
Effective communication and liaison with parents is an integral part of life within Regent House Prep and plays a huge role in the success of our school.
Information letters regularly update parents on diary dates and general information about the day-to-day life of the School.
Curriculum meetings in September present parents with information relevant to each year group. In addition, the Head of Department advises on school policies and procedures, including those pertaining to child protection and pastoral care.
Parental consultations are arranged bi-annually – in October and February. Parents and teachers are afforded the opportunity of discussing the child’s performance on a one-to-one basis. Teachers and parents also schedule other interviews throughout the year if the need arises.

The Regent House School Association is a thriving parent teacher organisation. The members work alongside the Department on fundraising initiatives and events throughout the school year, and their contribution is invaluable. It is an organisation that exists for the school as a whole, incorporating senior school events.
Links with Community
Links to the wider community include choir visits to the Danske at Christmas, visits to the local library and the Lough-shore clean up at Strangford Lough. We participate in the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal and at harvest time we prepare hampers of food for The Link, a local charity, and support other local and global charities through out the year in conjunction with the senior school.
